Why did seedlings get a new name?
Our seedlings are now called Starter Plants. They're the same healthy, ready-to-plant plants grown at our farm, but the new name better reflects what they are: plants that have already been started for you and are ready to go directly into your grower.
Are Starter Plants different from the seedlings I used to order?
No. Starter Plants are the same plants, varieties, and quality you've always received. The only changes are the name and how they're sold.
I have a seedling code from my Farmstand or Nook purchase. Does it still work?
Yes. Any seedling redemption code can still be redeemed as usual and will apply toward Starter Plants.
I placed a seedling order before November 3. Does anything change?
No. Orders placed before November 3 will be fulfilled exactly as ordered and at the price originally paid.

Starting November 3, Starter Plants are available in pack sizes with one simple price per pack.
How does pricing work now?
You can mix and match any varieties within your order. The larger the pack size, the lower the cost per plant.

Can I order fewer than 6 plants?
Yes. Orders containing 1 to 6 plants are priced at the 6-pack rate of $29.99. Since the price remains the same, most growers choose to fill the entire pack.
Why did pricing change?
For our most common order size of 18 plants, pricing remains unchanged.
Smaller orders cost more than before because shipping a box of live plants costs nearly the same whether the box contains 6 plants or 18 plants. The updated pricing structure more accurately reflects shipping costs while keeping larger orders affordable.
Additionally, our membership program helps lower the effective cost per plant by including extra plants with qualifying orders.
Getting healthy, live plants safely delivered to your door is one of the largest costs associated with every shipment, and carrier rates are largely outside of our control.
Is this more expensive than before?
It depends on how you order.
Larger packs reduce the per-plant cost to as low as $2.99 per plant, and all Starter Plant packs ship free. Smaller orders may cost more per plant than before because all orders begin at the 6-pack level.
