How do I calibrate my pH Pen? đŸŽ„

It's important to keep your pH pen in tip-top shape, so you can get the most accurate readings possible. Just like a good friend, your pH pen can change over time. That's why we recommend giving it some TLC by calibrating it before its first use and every 6 months afterwards. It will need to be recalibrated if used very frequently, has been out of use for a long period of time, or has not been stored properly. But don't worry, it's a quick and easy process that will ensure your pH readings are as precise as can be.

Note: Make sure the buffer solutions are completely dissolved before calibrating your pen.
Always replace the cap after use and store in a cool, dry and dark place.
Written instructions below:

  1. Unbox your pH pen.
  2. Gather three clean cups and spoons. Fill each cup with 1 cup of room temperature water.
  3. Pour each buffer solution into a separate cup and stir gently with a separate spoon until dissolved. Place each packet next to the corresponding cup.
  4. Remove the pen cap and protective film from the screen.
  5. Clean the electrode by holding it under clean running water.
  6. Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn on the pen.
