CLIO DANDELION OVERVIEW

You might remember picking up the round, delicate, puffy flowers of this weed and blowing them away, hoping for your wish to come true. As it turns out, the leaves and roots of this common plant, when bred for culinary use, provide more-than-ample nutrition. We chose this variety for its wide leaves which, even at baby size, will add another layer of flavor to salads, braised greens, smoothies, and more.

GROWING AND HARVESTING TIPS

Dandelion will tolerate a bit of shade, so feel free to plant on the lower levels of your farm. Harvest dandelion leaves from the outside moving in as leaves grow to 6". Leaves will become more fibrous with a more pronounced bitter flavor profile as they grow larger.
