Counterstand Maintenance Checklist

Every week:

• Check the water level in your vessel
• ONLY if water is almost empty (~1/2" inch from the bottom), refill as follows: 

1. 1. Add purified water to just below the “REFILL" or "MAX" line. The bottom of the plant should not be touching water 
      
   2. Add ~3 half-full droppers of plant food directly in the water (not the plant) and only when you are adding new water. You will do this by lifting the cup. 
   3. Check the position of the wick to be sure it's hanging straight into the water

• Prune away dead or dying leaves
  

Every 5-6 weeks and/or once you fully harvest your plant:

• Rinse out and clean the vessel and cup by hand or in your dishwasher
• Wash the water wick with soap & water or discard for a new wick
• Reset your Counterstand by adding fresh water up to the "REFILL" or "MAX" line and ~3 half-full droppers of plant food before introducing a new seedling
