Weekly maintenance resolves most issues

I'm doing weekly maintenance but my plants still look distressed

  • Don't worry if a few seedlings look wilted upon arrival—transportation can be stressful for them. Seedlings are remarkably resilient and typically perk up after a few days in your Counterstand! Make sure to follow instructions for receiving new seedlings to give them some help recovering their journey.
  • Double check the position of your wick, to confirm that the base of each plant is staying hydrated. Make sure the bottom of the wick is pulled all the way to the bottom of the Counterstand, and the top is in contact with the grow medium.
  • The base of your plants need to stay damp, but they should not be sitting in water. Ensure the water in your vessel is below the bottom of the plant. Only add water to the "REFILL" or "MAX" line as needed.
  • Confirm that your plants are getting at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day, or 16 hours of light under your Glow Lamp.
  • Regular air flow is important for plant health. If there is limited air flow near your Counterstand, consider using a small fan or move it to a location closer to an existing fan or A/C unit.
