Mint Mojitos with Edible Flower Garnish

Cool, citrusy, and irresistibly fresh—this mojito mixes just-picked mint and tart lime with a hint of sweetness, then gets dressed up with a floral flourish. Finished with a splash of sparkling water and delicate edible flowers, it’s the perfect balance of cooling herbs and citrusy refreshment—ideal for warm afternoons and leisurely gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Fresh mint leaves (plus extra for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp Cane sugar or simple syrup
  • 1 Lime
  • 4 oz White rum
  • 1 cup Sparkling water
  • 2 cups Ice
  • Handful Edible Flowers

Instructions

  1. Muddle – In two glasses, divide the mint leaves, sugar, and lime wedges. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press and release the oils and juices.

  2. Add Rum – Pour 2 ounces of white rum into each glass. Stir to combine.

  3. Fill with Ice – Add a generous amount of ice to each glass.

  4. Top & Stir – Pour sparkling water over the ice, stirring gently to mix.

  5. Garnish & Serve – Top with extra mint leaves and a few edible flowers for a vibrant, garden-fresh touch. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, swap the rum for more sparkling water or a splash of ginger beer.

  • Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more or less sugar/simple syrup.
