It's important to keep your pH pen in tip-top shape, so you can get the most accurate readings possible. Just like a good friend, your pH pen can change over time. That's why we recommend giving it some TLC by calibrating it before its first use and every 6 months afterwards. It will need to be recalibrated if used very frequently, has been out of use for a long period of time, or has not been stored properly. But don't worry, it's a quick and easy process that will ensure your pH readings are as precise as can be.
Note: Make sure the buffer solutions are completely dissolved before calibrating your pen.
Always replace the cap after use and store in a cool, dry and dark place.
