pH-induced nutrient burn

Brown tips despite correct dosing usually means pH is too high, blocking nutrient balance.

Steps to resolve

  1. Test pH — if above 7.0 adjust down immediately to 5.5-6.5
  2. Do a partial water change to dilute concentration if pH is below 4.5
  3. Skip nutrients for next 1–2 refills
  4. Resume normal dosing once new growth looks healthy
