First Frost Tea Blend ⛨ - Lettuce Grow

Made for cold days.

IMMUNITY ⛨ · READY IN 7 WEEKS

Your garden makes tea now. Snip a small handful of herbs, steep them fresh, and sip something no tea bag can touch. Fresh herbs brew brighter and more aromatic, with flavor straight from the garden.

The Blend

3 parts orange thyme · 2 parts sage · 1 part oregano

We measure in parts so the blend scales with you. Whether you're making one mug or a full pot, just keep the same ratio. The exact amounts for one 14 oz brew are below.

Orange thyme leads with bright citrus, sage bridges into savory warmth, and oregano adds a dark, resinous edge. Oregano stays at one part on purpose. It's the most assertive herb of the three, and a heavy hand turns the cup into soup.

Ingredients

  • 1½ tbsp orange thyme sprigs
  • 1 tbsp sage sprigs
  • ½ tbsp oregano sprigs
  • Honey and lemon, to taste

Instructions

How to Brew

SNIP

Harvest leafy sprigs of all three herbs and roughly tear or chop them to release their aromatic oils.

STEEP

Add herbs to your infuser and pour in water just off the boil. Cover and steep for 5–7 minutes.

SIP

Strain, stir in honey and a squeeze of lemon, and enjoy warm. The honey isn't optional here. It's part of the blend.

In the Cup

Citrus-herbal and savory, warming from the first sip.
