Your garden makes tea now. Snip a small handful of herbs, steep them fresh, and sip something no tea bag can touch. Fresh herbs brew brighter and more aromatic, with flavor straight from the garden.

The Blend

2 parts calendula · 1 part viola · 1 part marigold

We measure in parts so the blend scales with you. Whether you're making one mug or a full pot, just keep the same ratio. The exact amounts for one 14 oz brew are below. Flowers are counted by the head, not spooned.

Calendula brings honeyed gold, marigold adds depth of color and a bitter edge, and viola sits between them to keep the cup delicate. Ratio matters more here than in any other blend. Push marigold past one part and the whole thing turns astringent.

Instructions

How to Brew

SNIP

Harvest the flowers. Pull the petals from the calendula and marigold heads, and add the violas whole.

STEEP

Add the flowers to your infuser and let the water cool for a minute off the boil before pouring. Cover and steep for about 5 minutes. Flowers like a gentle hand.

SIP

Strain and enjoy warm.

Not Enough Blooms?

This is the most flower-heavy of our tea blends. If the harvest is light, brew a smaller cup rather than stretching the ratio. Stretch the flowers too far and the blend loses what makes it special.
