Heat stress from high temperature

Plant growth slows above 90°F — warm water stresses roots and limits nutrient uptake.

Steps to resolve

  1. Add 1–2 handfuls of ice cubes to the tank now
  2. Top off 2–3x per week with cool water
  3. Add nutrients only every other refill during heat
  4. Adjust timer settings for hot weather
  5. Raise Farmstand off bare concrete if outdoors
