Algae buildup — time to clean

Even with good maintenance, algae can build up. A full clean resets the system.

Steps to resolve

  1. Drain the tank completely
  2. Scrub visible algae from inside the tank and lid
  3. Use LG cleaning kit
  4. Block light entering the tank — algae needs light to grow
  5. Refill with fresh water, correct pH, add new nutrients
