Tall and leggy means not enough light

Stretching is a plant reaching for light it is not getting. Indoors that usually means grow light hours or distance. Outdoors it usually means shade.

Steps to resolve

  1. Indoors, confirm your grow lights are connected, powered on, and running enough hours per day
  2. Check whether a larger neighbor is shading the plant, prune it back if so
  3. Outdoors, confirm the stand gets enough direct sun and is not shaded by a fence, wall or tree
  4. Consider moving the stand to a brighter spot
