Harvesting tips

Plant minime cucumber on the bottom levels on your Farmstand. They will trail down onto the ground which can obstruct any seedlings below. Minime cucumbers are best harvested at 4 – 5".

This variety is parthenocarpic which means it is self-pollinating! It is not necessary but, if you want to help with pollination, you can give the vines a gentle shake every few days.

It is normal for the first few sets of fruit to wither away and die off before they grow to maturity. As long as it continues to produce new, healthy growth then the plant just needs more time to grow to a mature state.

It's easy with the Farmstand

Our self-watering, self-fertilizing hydroponic system takes all the guesswork out of growing your own veggies.

    Extremely Poor customer service

I emailed your help center on 5/21, finally on 5/25 I received a reply from Elsa with questions that I answered. I offered to send pictures. (I've had a tower since 2022 and know how to manage it.)

That was the last time I heard from anyone!!! Before receiving the April-May order I bought a new timer and pump from Lettuce Grow in anticipation for the order. The water in the tank was new and fresh.

I had several plants die immediately from my April order and then more died over the next 3-4 days while the rest of the order were healthy and growing well. While waiting for someone to respond to my initial request for help I reordered 3 cucumber plants and one tomato plant to replace the dead plants. When delivered 1 cuke was totally broken at the base, another was bent over and creased to almost breaking. I propped it up with toothpicks and wrapped cotton string to help splint it. I kept it wet and inside in my kitchen window until today and moved it to the tower. We'll see.

In the past I've asked for help and never heard back. This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with and when my prepaid seedlings are finished I'm finished with Lettuce Grow.

    Cucumbers fell out.

I don’t know if the root system was not deep enough for what happened but the cucumber plants just fell out of the pod. I’ve ordered a lot of cucumbers and this is the first time it’s ever happened. It happened to all 3 plants.
