Is the Lettuce Grow app free?
Yes, our companion app is completely free! It automatically tracks the plants on your Farmstand and notifies you when they're ready to harvest. This way, you receive personalized growing tips and timely alerts.
How much do seedlings cost?
Lettuce Grow seedlings are $2.99 each, or $2.49 when purchased in a grow pack. Lettuce Grow is the only hydroponic system that offers living, 2-3 week old pre-germinated seedlings.
How proficient of a gardener do I need to be?
Our system is designed for individuals who have even struggled with succulents or common houseplants. No prior gardening skills are necessary—our guarantee is that you'll enjoy bountiful harvests within just 2-3 weeks.
How long can I keep seedlings on the Farmstand
The duration varies by variety, but generally, you can keep each seedling on the Farmstand for 6-8 weeks.
How much maintenance does it require?
The Farmstand requires only about 15 minutes of maintenance per week. Simply top off the water reservoir, add nutrients, and periodically test and adjust the pH. Additionally, every three months, we recommend performing a water reset and system cleaning, which takes approximately 30 minutes.
How much produce can it grow?
You can grow the following number of plants at a time depending on the size of your Farmstand: Small: 18 plants Medium: 24 plants Large: 36 plants Nook: 20 plants Many of our seedlings are pre-sprouted and can be ready to harvest as quickly as 3 weeks. Vegetable plants may take longer to mature but can continue to produce over many weeks once they reach maturity.
What starter seedlings are included? Can I choose them?
Our seedling selection is seasonally curated and thoroughly tested by our horticulture team to ensure optimal growth and yield. Seedlings are chosen based on flavor, yield, and their suitability for the Farmstand. Since our offerings are based on seasonal availability and informed by historical climate data, you don’t have to worry about plants not being suited to your environment.
