Cutting Celery

$2.99
This hybrid celery has all the flavor you need for anything from soups and stews to chicken salads and herb mixes without the fiberous stalk.
Cutting Celery is a leafy, aromatic herb that can be used as a celery substitute if you want to add flavor without the stringy fibers. Cutting Celery has a dark, glossy leaf with a serrated edge and small sprig-like stalks making it sometimes hard to distinguish from parsley. Leaves and stems of cutting celery can be used to add flavor to salads, vegetables, stews and soups.
This cultivar looks like a cross between cutting celery and curled-leaf parsley and has great celery flavor. Add to salads, soups, and any recipe where you might use traditional stalks of celery.

    Wonderful little celery

The reason I love this celery is that it has great flavor but it is just the right size and thickness for adding to meals. Perfect for deviled eggs, tuna salad and omlets. My husband is not a fan of celery because of the stringy attribute. But he doesn't even notice this narrow stalked type in his meals and it adds such flavor! I miss it when it is not available to order! A MUST have!

To smell the scent of celery just from the little sprout is amazing. Cannot wait to harvest!
