Harvesting tips

Harvest when cabbage head is compact and firm, about 10 - 12 inches tall. This variety is prone to tip burn in hot weather so it should only be planted once temperatures start to cool down. Night time temperatures below 50°F may cause bolting and can be avoided by using a water heater or providing Farmstand with insulation during overnight frosts or freezes.
