Harvesting tips

Lollo Rossa will produce perfect heads if left to grow to maturity but it can also be harvested younger as a baby leaf that is great for salad mixes. For larger leaves, harvest the entire seedling once it has produced a dense head. Check for bunching with a gentle squeeze. If you are growing for baby leaf production, harvest individual leaves when they reach the desired size.

    This lettuce is not only yummy, it grows really well in the 'Lettuce Grow' machine. Easy to care for and an excellent salad addition. I always grab at least one of these every time I order more goodies to grow!
