Moonrise Tea Blend ☾ - Lettuce Grow

CALM & SLEEP ☾ · READY IN 7 WEEKS

Your garden makes tea now. Snip a small handful of herbs, steep them fresh, and sip something no tea bag can touch. Fresh herbs brew brighter and more aromatic, with flavor straight from the garden.

The Blend

3 parts lemon balm · 1 part viola · 1 part fennel fronds

We measure in parts so the blend scales with you. Whether you're making one mug or a full pot, just keep the same ratio. The exact amounts for one 14 oz brew are below. Flowers are counted by the head, not spooned.

Lemon balm lays down a soft citrus base, viola rounds it out with a gentle floral note, and fennel adds a whisper of licorice sweetness. A little fennel also helps settle the stomach, which makes this one especially good after a late or heavy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp lemon balm leaves
  • 2 tsp feathery fennel fronds
  • 5–6 whole viola flowers

Instructions

How to Brew

SNIP

Harvest the herbs and roughly tear or chop the lemon balm and fennel fronds to release their aromatic oils. Add the violas whole.

STEEP

Add herbs to your infuser and pour in water just off the boil. Cover and steep for 6–8 minutes to coax out the fennel's sweetness.

SIP

Strain and enjoy warm.

In the Cup

Gentle citrus with a whisper of licorice and soft florals.

Not Enough Blooms?

Brew it as lemon balm and fennel and add the violas when they come. The blend still works. It just loses its color.
