Check timer, nutrients and pests

With relatively fresh water, brown crispy tips usually point at timer settings, nutrient dose, or pests.

Steps to resolve

  1. Check your timer is set correctly for your environment, especially outdoors where temperatures shift
  2. Confirm you have been giving the right nutrient dose, too little or too much can affect every plant at once
  3. Look closely for bugs, especially on the undersides of leaves
